"Nightmare"
My experience with Concord is terrible. Most of the issues found during walk-through inspection (which is literally only 15 mins) were not fixed, such as a half size penny counter top chip. After we moved in, we found out more problems, such as sink not properly seal, kitchen sink leak, lots of paint cracks, cabinets were not properly install which makes it impossible to even close the build-in fridge. My building also has been experiencing inconsistent hot water issue and on and off working parking gates. It has been almost half year since we move in, and these issues are still outstanding and have yet to be addressed. There's no customer service after the sale. Expect to send lots and lots of emails when you want them to come fix things.

"Seems like all the
negative comments are
from the same person?"
I bought a very nice suite in one of Concord Pacific's towers. The staff at the Presentation Centre is knowledgeable and friendly. The Customer Relations Department is fair, reasonable and better than other developers I have had experience with. It is nice having one contact to speak with, instead of being given the tradesperson's number and told to "call them yourself", which has happened with other Customer Care staff I have spoken with.

Are you working for Concord and protecting their filthy way to provide service. Have better look at the amount of complaints for customer service of Concord Pacific or just speak to homeowner and that is the proof how poor quality and workmanship. Concord does not care about you as a customer after the sale is completed.

"Watch out for poor
workmanship of Concord
Pacific Group inc"
Concord Pacific is getting famost for poor workmanship and chip materials being used in the constraction. The company does not care about the buyer. There is no service after you had purchase. You are a problem to Concord Pacific as a customer. All they wanted is your money. We agree shame on Concord owner Terrence Hui.

Concord Pacific Group construction quality is a pain in the a$$. Company is complete dishonest with the customer.National Home Warranty covers up poor quality of construction putting negative inpact on solution. In our opinion there is no justice available to the homeowner when you deal with concord Pacific and that should not happen in Canada

We completely agree with the feedback. We had very hard time to accomplish the warranty issues which been there do to unacceptable business practices

Even when Strata consultants found and fixed most of the warranty problem Concord refuses to help.Negligence of the management, Breach of Warranty proved does not make the Concord to care any more. They just don't care about a customer. Customer suffering is not reason to help to solve Warranty problems. It is chipper to go threw courts. Concords connections in the province of BC is part of corruption experiences we see in the province of BC. All the company cares is greed for money. That the way owner was brought up by his parents. Dishonesty common way the business is done by Concord Pacific

We found lots of problems with construction. Concord Pacific refused to look after warranty issues, trying to rely on all kinds of exuses

"Nice overall"
The process was very fair in the pre-sales. Which isn't so true sometimes with other developers. The end product is nice as well. I can't think of anything negative to say. Excellent.

we had very negative expierance with Concord Pacific Group. We found them dihonest, try to cover up major problems. They are covered by unprofesional gang from Aviva Insurance, who wont even respond to calls or emails. They do not care about your concern as they are in buisness to fool the customer to make extra dollar

"Love The Buildings"
I have always been impressed with Concord Pacific's product, they are usually higher end buildings with great amenities, and in the case of Vancouver tend to be in great locations. When you want to buy on the top end, This is a developer that should come to mind. I actually bought from them in Toronto as well but then sold before completion. Was very happy with the fairness of the sales process, it was at a time when people lined up all night to buy, but each person was given a fair chance. Again, although I never got to see the finished product the specs were certainly impressive.smrtovnica smrtovnice

I am an investor myself and the experience of presale is usually very plesant as developers invest heavily to ensure an enticing presentation to potential buyer. As an investor, I do not pay very close attention to quality of construction at closing inspection because I was going to rent it out anyways and expect the condo to be trashed in time. However, when I do buy a condo for myself to live in, I pay very close attention and notice all the faults. Hence, the nature of the buyer/owner is very important in giving comment. As an investor, Concord's products is good for rental because they focus on giving good amenity spaces that will be a selling point in rental market. The high maintenance cost will be offset by the rent income, and not generating a profit in the investment condo on cash basis is a bonus for investor as it will reduce or eliminate income tax. Just as long as the condo market value goes up, all is justified. So use your own discretion when evaluating other's opinion. Think clearly whether they are home owners or investors.

We are excited to announce that we now feature Microsoft Bird's Eye View and Google Street View for condo buildings!
Hi there, Just wondering if the issues been resolved, Im considering buying a unit there in Aquarius2
Only the hot watee issue and cabinets related issues got resolved. Parking gate is still ongoing issue. Our council found out that the motor that Concord installed cannot handle the volume of people in our building... you just never thought a well known builder will make those kind of mistake.
Insider perspective: I am an interior designer who worked on many condos in Vancouver with different developers. In general, condos built in 80's were of better quality because developers were less experience in cost-cutting thus allowing designers and engineers to put the right products in the buildings. The leaky condo problem was an industry wide issue not really the fault of developers nor designers but a general mis-guided but well published building envelope guidelines that everyone followed and failed. The new generation of condos suffer from massive cost cutting. In general, developer put in 2 elevators per condo building (which is impractical as 1 is always locked for moving activities), leaving a peak hour elevator jam. With a healthy rental market in Canada that generates high rate of move-in/out activities in building, 4 elevators would be the minimum functional level, but over 90% of buidings get only 2. As for cabinets, they are usually imported from China or Korea, unless the developer tells you the brand name and it is made in Italy. Otherwise, expect poor kitchen cabinet quality and installation. If you want quality condo, buy from BOSA or Westbank
