"Good location,
satisfactory value for
its age"
It's too easy to hide behind an anonymous ID on this site. And therefore this service can be abused. To counter that I'm using my real name to comment on 9623 Manchester Drive. The location is extremely convenient (SkyTrain, Lougheed Mall) - and the views are quite lovely. One couldn't realistically be in a better spot for transit and access to Highway 1. Like all buildings of this age one faces an ongoing battle against equipment failure (acknowledged in the recent minutes - mid 2016) and time. I won't comment on the management company - they come and go - and the people, in general, are genuine and from a wide range of backgrounds. I made some good friends there.

"Fair - but with issues"
This was the first building in the Strathmore Towers complex. It is well-positioned with respect to facilities, and for its age the building is in fair condition. I owned a unit there until last year (2011) But I heard from the staff that there are problems with the roof - one owner has had a leak for over 6 years and that has not been resolved. There have been some water pipe leaks but not as many as the other buildings on the site - so on the whole it was not too bad to live there. I never heard of breakins, most people seemed polite and civilized - but the place could do with more maintenance.

This review is fair. This tower is the first tower among the 3 in the complex. Building is probably the best due to yep! the original builder always had to put a bit more effort to do the showcase and heat up the sale figure. If you look at the other buildings - the 2nd one is exactly the same design but the builder were greedy to pile up a few more floors; hence we are seeing a lot more problems with the building as its facilities like piping & the lift are stretched. If you look at the tallest tower of all..... Well, do you believe that the builder would re-design a completely new building with facilities that is good for a tall tall building. The answer is of course not, due to why bother cos' it will take double the cost and double the effort. Hence, tall building is just a double up of the original design of a shorter building.... How many units is this tall building supporting? You can go and count and I am sure you can work out the logic and come to your own conclusion.

I hear that the current management is one of the main problems - why can you not comment?
