The Collage are lowrise condos built by Polygon. When it comes to shoddy workmanship and leaky condos, the polygon group is the worst builder. Furthermore, these are lowrise condos. Lowrise structures are mostly prefabricated wood structures. Wood structures have many disadvantages. 1) Fire Safety 2) Mold, Rot and Decay 3) shorter Lifespan than steel and concrete highrise 4) Shrinkage 5) Less resistance to weather 6) Higher Maintenance 7) Shrinkage

"Nice Low Rise But Some
Problems In The Building"

I visited to 3units phase 1 Collage. Very nice building and finish. Good size for 2bed with nice large balcony. The only drawback is you can hear people walking above you and there seems to be some security issues with break ins. I also heard there was a water pipe burst in the phase 2 and effected maybe a few units with water damage. But overall a very nice decent low rise. Great price if bought late 2007 $320k for 2bed2bath. However, for the same price now $400-420k you can buy yourself a brand new concrete Condo in the area-Brentwood. I would rather purchase a concrete building for the same price and you will not have that noise issue with a concrete building.

"Nice Size"

Well I had a chance to vist a freind in this buildig and was quite suprised at how large the units were, great size and seems that prices are pretty good as well. I think this is great value in this area, quality is quite good and of course it is new so should not be too much to worry about. The only negative here is that you are quite close to Lougheed highway and at the moment the area is still quite industrial/commercial. I think that is going to change but will be a while.

Families, Professionals, First Time Buyers, Young Couples
