"Don't Do It"
Loud, we could hear our neighbours yawn and worst of all, pee! If you want to have a quite and romantic evening, forget it!

Rented a unit in this building

"Poorly build and loud!"
This building is poorly constructed. I have lived in wood structure buildings but have never heard so much stomping, screaming and door slamming as I have here. Upstairs neighbour stomps around all day, next door neighbour has mental meltdowns and slams the doors and bangs the walls. Just horrible. I would never buy here.

Noise transfer is a deficiency. DID YOUR STRATA CORPORATION REPORT IT? Builders follow the Building Code. If you don't report; how will builders know. (Your Strata Council should also have New Building & Warranty experience) To many Councils have opted to let individual owners deal with Unit problems when it is actually a Building problem.

MOST, IF NOT ALL, BUILDINGS ARE THE SAME. IF YOU MOVE, READ THE MINUTES FOR THE NEXT BUILDING. (I recently moved out of this building into another that enforces their Bylaws without ever "fixing the root problems". An over used Bylaw is the right to enjoy your strata lot. (Trying being threatened with fines if you continue to use your Kitchen and bathroom at the same time as your neighbour. (we have two bedrooms))
We would probably be faced with fines if we used our master bedroom.
