Gemini I at 6611 Southoaks Crescent was the second of three towers built in the Southoaks area. Built by Bosa the Gemini I features floor to ceiling windows and spacious balconies.

Located near the new Highgate shopping village, and transportation, the Gemini I is in a very desirable area The Japanese Nikkei Place is also located just steps from Gemini I.

Views from the suites include views of the North shore mountains, Mt. Baker, the Fraser River, and Surrey.

"Decent Building and
Location"

Very nice building, looks decent from the outside and in. Large condo and large balconies. Nice views, but Kingsway is a little noisy. Southoaks is a nice little street, I think some people may not know it exists. Close to some restaurants and services on Kingsway and buses are close but Skytrain is a little walk to Edmonds.

Not as good as Gemini II as this building allows rentals and the sinks are only plastic not stainless steel. Also no security as floor access restriction is lifted for convenience sake. This building is only 2 years older than Gemini 2 but it looks a lot older because of rentals allowed which tenants don't take care of their property.

I am on the strata council for this building and I have to disagree. Gemini 1 is a lovely building. We have a very well-maintained building and grounds. Our enamel cast iron sinks (white) are NOT plastic. Floor access restriction not in effect due to cost, not convenience. We do not tolerate messy balconies (like our neighboring condo).

The original sinks were white cast iron, not "plastic." This building is beautifully maintained. We've lived here over 12 years and have had no levees due to excellent strata council management of funds. We are very lucky to live here.
