"Don't waste your money"

I have been in this building for 4 years, there is a constant turnover in resident managers because Kaneff head office treats there resident managers like shit, as far as the roach problems Kaneff always claims it the tenants fault due to the apartments not being kept clean, in some instances I can see that being the case but an entire building i don't think so, to get this problem under control the entire building needs to sprayed not certain apartments over a period of time. I would definitely not recommend this building. Stay away far away

"Roach City"

This is the worst building in Mississauga. It is full of roaches, Kaneff doesn't care about the tenants as they can't treat their management nice, they are always changing superintendents. They won't spray the whole building and its a terrible way to live especially when you are not paying discounted rented for the extra roommates you have.

"Would not roccmend as
well"

Visited a unit on the first floor and saw roaches in the kitchen while being showed a unit. I also saw the gym, which should not considered a gym at all. Based on what I have seen and the reviews of others I wouldn't waste anytime viewing these units.

"Keep changing staff"

They keep changing staff every couple of months. After that, take a time to get a new people. Why???

"Do not move in here"

I have moved in here as Kaneff is one of the well-known managements out there. But they are disappointing me day by day. I was welcomed by cockroaches which the management was VERY CONFIDENT TO SAY THE APARTMENT IS BUG-FREE. The next thing you know after many complaints about roaches is having some exterminators to come in and do nothing but moving my furniture around. The management has told me to wait a few weeks for the spray to take effect however I still see cockroaches crawling in the kitchen every night. And what does the management do? Nothing else but telling me to keep the unit clean (which I already do) and saying there is NOTHING they can do. Tenants in the building? I do not know much about cheaper apartments near North Service Road but I can say the tenants here are not that better. Seeing ghetto people in the lobby at night is not the greatest thing to see, and cranking loud music from some ghetto cars parked in front of the lobby isn't the greatest either. And don't get me started on assistant managers not only being rude but also being very ignorant. They do not take responsibilities in problems that the tenant brings up, but only to ask to contact the head office. I've only seen them being so initiative trying to have more people to move in so they can hope to make more money. I've never met such irresponsible people and strongly recommend to look for other apartments.

"Ghetto with a capital "G""

This is another Kaneff property that is mismanaged. You may be personally greeted by Roach infestation no matter which floor you live in as they come through the kitchen sink at night. If you need something done try chasing the super's around for weeks to get done. The laundry room is a joke. You pretty much have a hit or miss with any machines. No matter how much you cry or complaint, it’s a bait and switch deal. You may have the occasional pot smoking neighbor but that is pretty much expected in most apartment units. Please look past the amenities as they are another joke. Except for the swimming pool which they somewhat maintain, the rest of it is crap. They have 2 table tennis tables which were probably picked up from the trash area. The balconies look like they were never replaced or maintained as they may look good on the outside but inside they are mostly rusty and may soon fall and hurt someone. I recommend you stay far away or look for the opposite building - I believe its called "The Brookside" which is far better maintained. Also stay away from Sherobee Towers which is even worse than the Argosy. So unless you have a criminal background or need to throw away your money don't bother with this place. This review was written on June 2011 so don't expect any fireworks from any management changes as Kaneff is known for underpaying their super's and building managers and hence they end up with crappy employees.

The thieves live in this building and management is shady. "old couple"

I visited this building and compare to other buildings in this area I found this one good and nice for living.I read the other review but I cannot found something like that.I talked to resident Manager some Indian Lady she is so nice and very helpful.I found the building clean as well. For my side I can give this building 4 out of 5.

"Don't"

Do not bother with this building. Although they have replaced the appliances this year, the balconies constantly drip of any liquid from the unit above, there are cockroaches, and although they take steps to "terminate" the ability to do so, or perhaps the will is not 100%. The management is non responsive and there is a new super ever few months. Just don't.
