"Not bad at all."

I've lived here for a few months now and have 0 issues. Residents are all friendly I have not encountered any rude people, drug dealers, or anything like that. I don't know what people expect from the management but I've called, emailed, and spoken to the lady many times and she's always been quick and helpful. Same goes for the absolute club staff, security, and even the janitors. All of them are friendly and helpful. The amenities are great I've used the BBQ area and pools many times everything is clean and in good condition plus the party rooms are very nice. Security gates only back up when there's 2 or more waiting for a visitor pass at same time which happens sometimes but it's just a few minutes not a big issue. The fire alarm has gone off a few times (always at night false alarms) but that happens in any high rise. The location can't be beat its a 5 minute walk to square one and the 403 is a minute away. I would recommend these buildings to anyone. I'm here with my wife and baby we all perfectly happy. The nasty reviews are uncalled for maybe when the buildings were first built there was issues but as of now it's a great place to live.

"Not that bad."

I am living in this building since last couple of months. So far, there wasn't any issue with the building. The building is still far better than many others in Mississauga or GTA. It is true that building management is really very arrogant and not co-operative at all (may be because i am renting this place, don't know.) if you anyhow need to deal with them, they're less willing to help. Everything else is just good. Not much far from sqone mall or food basics, good location and ideal for families or young couples to get things started. Most units

"Absolute Club - 30,000
square feet of Amenities
is a HUGE
DISAPPOINTMENT!!!"

The promise of 30,000 square feet of amenities lures those who foolishly hope to use it. It has remained unfinished for two years now, and it moves along at snail’s pace. The turnover in the absolute community has been huge. Most have left frustrated and disappointed by the lack of interest in finishing the Absolute Club which is the big selling point of the Absolute community. The Absolute Club looks as though it will be finished very soon, however do not let that fool you into thinking you will live here long enough to see it finished. Even if you do decide to buy into the partially finished club, you will likely move before it is completed. There are huge numbers of trades looking for work at the moment, and Fernbrook has few excuses for not completing the work. But, after another year has passed us by, the minimal work continues. This could be finished in less than 30 days if the builder had any intention of finishing it this year of 2009. I too will follow those before me and move. When looking for your dream condominium, it's best to move on to a builder who is serious about what they promise in amenities. Huge condo fees with almost non-existent amenities.

I wonder if this is still the case, does anyone know? And if so, can the residents not do anything about this?

Lived there for over a year...everything about it is awful. Bad management, rude cleaning staff, elevators never work, very grungy young kids around all the time...just bad.

Never rent or buy this condo unless you are willing to face the fact that once or twice a month you be waken up by a false fire alarm mostly at midnight or very early mornings. Depending on the floor you live, you will have endure awful strong smell that comes in from your vent and door from cooking done by some indians. I lived there for 2 years and I had to use the stairs from 25 floors because the f##$$ing elavators were out of order three times. At many occations, the elavators goes out of order and end up over crowding the elavator because there's only one working. Never rent from Indians because they have no common sense. You will be sorry. The entrance that is poorly designed is crowded because it only has one lane and the line starts to back all the way to burnhamthrop. You will start to hear the residents honking their horns because they can get in. Whoever designed this entrance is one of stupidiest person. If you are moving in this condo, think it over.

Agree, I do not want to deal with Indian.

Thanks a lot, I was wondering about the issues you mentioned.

Smell and false alarm happens in every single condo building. I visited the the Amenities last time (early 2011) and everything seems working and in use. They now have to gate and 2 entrances, so they traffic flow should be much better than when it was first built. Elevators....I'm a guest and visited the Absoulte building at least 10 times, so far I never see one that's not working. I guess you really have to live there to experience it, but I haven't see the issue yet. I'm not the owner nor the tenant, but checking out the condo as a potnetial buyer and they don't look that bas as described.

...(Continue) Condo fee is reasonable, 70 and 90's condo fee includes hydro which is hard to find at this time and you compare other buildings in the area or Toronto, they are really within the range and you get the whole Amenities with it where most places doesn't have it.
unregistered user on June 21 2011:
how much do they charge for condo fees per sq ft? How are the people that live int he buildings? How busy does the Absolute Club get?
unregistered user on February 8 2012:
Low to mid 400s condo fee for a 1+1 size includes Hydro.

moved herea couple of months ago and our unit had cockroaches...i never thoght condos would even have roach infestations but clearly they did or the ppl that lived before us was really dirty, we werent informed of the roaches when we moved, nor did the landlord know....
unregistered user on March 29 2012:
Absolute Club is a joke....too small and no access unless you walk outside or through grungy underground parking..tiny pool..I wouldnt dream of swimming in..the fee is reasonable if you agree getting nothing is reasonable..one word..DUMP.
unregistered user on March 29 2012:
the backing up of traffic in mentioned above is still the same..with the opening of the two new towers its a bigger mess and with the funny traffic flow and mix of foot traffic and traffic system its only a matter of time before there is a crash or pedestrian is hit..
unregistered user on January 4 2013:
Just came back from the Absolute towers. Was considerng to rent an apartment before buying. Real estate showed me a unit which had a curry smell as soon as I opened the door. Definitely will be renting before making any kind of purchase in this building but the location is great. Try before you buy when it comes to a condo so you can at least experience it and make a descision. For the few months to 1 year of rent, it's well worth it.
unregistered user on June 24 2013:
We are soon moving into absolute tower building. We will be there for 6-8 months. We do not have the car.Can anyone please give a genuine feedback of place we are renting.
unregistered user on August 15 2013:
The person that has roaches has an isolated issue as I live here and I never ever see a roach anywhere...really the persons that live there before were really really dirty but that is not the case in the whole building like you want to make it look
unregistered user on August 15 2013:
the entrance to the building is perfectly fine as it never takes me more time than what the pole takes time to go up as one gate is only for residents most of the time and the other is for residents and visitors...traffic flows perfectly for residents

Can someone who lives at 90 Absolute right now, comment on the status of the building, considering the negative comments made 4 years ago.
