"Love this place, Amazing
view "
I lived in this unit for one year now. It has been a great experience. Friendly people. Amazing concierge. Probably the best amenities you will find in any square one condo. My unit have a 180 view - with every room having access to its own balcony - which is amazing. Since the day, I have moved in - elevators have been very quick. There is six elevators on every floor. Every one that comes over is absolutely thrilled at the place. Amazing party room on the 50th floor

How about that messy psycho purple haired lady who lives in the 60 building? Shes angry all the time and from the talks around the building, is a menace to everyone she comes across. Any experiences?

This is a great building to live in. Very few issues now-a-days. I had read horrible things about the past. The new Management and the new Board really seem to be turning this place around.

comparing to absolute 60. the 50 absolute condo fee is still way high. any improvement on this for 2017

I agree, the new management team is much better and have solved many of the issues that I’m reading about from older reviews. I’ve lived here from beginning of 2017. Never had issues with plumbing, heating, or getting in and out of the parking lot. 1 of 6 elevators has been out of order about twice, but usually it’s fixed pretty quick.
unregistered user on February 13 2019:
Anyone know why the maintenance fees for 50 absolute is so much higher than 60? How is the building doing in 2018/2019 - used to see lots of complaints/problems online from previous years but not so much recently.

Reading all of this comments I must say the building has improved. THE ELEVATORS STILL SUCK! And don't get me started about the garbage chute. Does it ever actually work? For anyone?? But since living here for the past 7 months, I have never not had hot water. The one issue I did have with my upstairs neighbor pouring water down, was quickly resolved. My standard of clean is quite high and I must say It is kept quite clean, and the ladies who do the cleaning are sweethearts they always have a smile on and can be seen around the buildings cleaning - all day - everyday. There's two dogs that constantly bark, as if someone just leaves them out on the balcony to do so and yes that sucks, but poor dog owners are found in every building. The building is full of families, mostly ethnic. You'll have more sightings of families than any of these drug dealers and workers people are seeing?

"Looks nice from the
outside but......."
The amount of issues with this building is endless, from the plumbing to the fit and finish to the tenants and the management company.Constant leaks from the plumbing INSIDE the walls, the terrible finishing work and the windows that isn't seal properly. The buildings has a very high amount of east asians and the cooking smell tends to enter other units, the amount of repairs needed because of scratches and spills in the hallways and elevators is insane. The management company is a issue also, they hire the cheapest security with high turnover and some don't even understand english that well.Ask them to warn a tenant about anything they tend to take forever or even ignore the request. It's somewhat cheap to rent but other than that avoid if possible.

"Do NOT live there"
I currently live in the building, and ever since Thursday night, the heat has been down for the lower floors due to heat pump blowing up. It is end of October and 10 degrees outside. At night it gets to close to 0 degrees. It has been four days without heat and not only does building management not provide an update until the tenants ask, but their attitude is TERRIBLE. They do NOT know when heat will be available again because "it is a 400+lb special pump". I understand it is a "special pump", but it is bad enough that the building does not have some sort of backup pump in case of emergencies, but where everyone else has their heat turned up because it IS COLD AT NIGHT, the management's response to heat resuming date is "it is unavailable"?! Do they not realize how cold it can get in the units?! I don't believe that there is absolutely nothing the management team can do for the tenants. The management team is extremely rude and obnoxious. The building is constantly having problems on a regular basis, like the garbage chute, and this is just one of them, but the most infuriating one. So unless you want to freeze in winter, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME!!!!

"Should you buy an
Absolute Condo at 50
Absolute?"
The Absolute Condos building were snapped up by buyers (mostly investors), in a matter of days of their launch. At the time of launch in 2006, approx. price of lower floor condos ranged between $350-$400 per square foot, a floor premium of $500 per higher floor, and a lot higher premium for floors above 31st floor. Of course, the penthouses had their own premium prices. In 2006, newly built resale condos at Square One were hovering around the $200-$250 per square feet mark. The launch price of Absolute World in 2006, is the approximate price per square foot of some other newer Square One luxury condos in today’s market. "Improvement"
This building is finally seeing improvement and I for one am pleased. Elevator reliability is stabilizing, hot water issues no longer exist, and general cleanliness of the building is much better. Brookfield management company is doing a great job from the mess that First Service and the developer created. Heat in the lobby is finally on the way, its crazy how the developer almost got away with not addressing this. Thanks Brookfield, for ensuring our Tarion warranty claims did not get through unchallenged. The building is on the right track to being the tower it was meant to be.

You are kidding right??!! in 50 Absolute, out of three elevators for higher floors there have been only 2 operating since November 2014, making it extremely annoying specially during moving times. for a few months they were allowing the tenants on the lower floors to use our service elevator (even though they have 3 operating elevators on their side) which creates more traffic on the already broken elevator system. and this month the second one broke down and we are left with ONE elevator only operating for floors (27-48). Don't get me started on the most horrific building management service in the history of building managements, the service is pathetic, unprofessional, non-sufficient, no updates about any issues happening in the building. the only good thing about this building is the view of Toronto which has nothing to do with it. oh and on so many occasions we have seen drug dealers and call girls in the lobby and security does absolutely nothing about it. this review must've been written by someone from management trying to make themselves look good. very disappointing.
unregistered user on May 10 2015:
you must be kidding? yes we had problems no doubts but Brookfield management is doing excellent work. Working on issues which was left by previous Management and builder too. They are working on current issues too. Seriously you cann't see good work and changes taking place. No one change your opinion.

Thay also told this is to not increase the maintenance fee again and for sure the maintenance fee went up as well. We are the owner on the 17th floor which also got flooded totally about a month ago due to some repair job in the elevator shaft repair that went wrong. We will seee some increase in our maintenance fee for that too for sure.

I am sure more would get done to improve the situations that need attention in the building if more owners cared enough to get a quorum to allow for votes on well needed changes. There has not been a quorum in over 4 years which has ensured nothing can get done because noone can vote on it. If noone can vote then brookfield can't do anything. Im suprised that Brookfield hasn't gone to the government and requested a lower owner turnout percentage in order to get a quorum so by-laws can be passed and s*&t can get done.

"I LOVE THIS BUILDING"
I LOVE THIS BUILDING hey its ne again: I forgot to mention that there is a new management in the building "Brookfield Condominium Services Ltd." which started a significant change and here is few things of what they have accomplished and still looking to do: • Installed LED lighting throughout the building. This project has a 20 month payback and the savings in hydro costs will be in excess of $7,500 per month. • Changed the on site security company with substantial savings. • Changed the on site cleaning company at substantial savings also. Here is what they are looking to do: • Enroll the Corporation into a gas contract to provide stabilization of costs and to contain costs of the actual commodity of gas. • Ensure that work carried out in the building is for the Corporation’s benefit and not for the benefit of affiliated companies of management. • Brookfield will be reviewing all contracts and tendering out with exact specifications of the building needs to make sure to obtain the best service for the best price. there are more changes in the works which I will reveal ones they are accomplished as well. Thanks for reading.

None of the large property owners are signing up for long term gas contracts as the price of natural gas has been falling for years and will continue to do so. Brookfield is not that smart if they are tying up this building on a long term high price contract.

"Traumatized and
Dissapointed"
Last night, I woke up to the screams of a woman, ran to my window, and saw shattered glass and a bloody body on the ground. Turns out somebody fell off their balcony from apprx the 38th floor. Didn't sleep a wink and when the sun rose, saw a graphic scene of where the poor woman's body had smashed into while falling.Im disappointed with the way management has handled this. There has been no announcement given and no explanation to residents. The blood is still spattered on the building and I'm truly distraught.

Someone was PUSHED from 31st floor, stubbed or shot before- balconies are heavily covered with blood 6 floors down. Police was already in front of the building before it happened

I also heard the terrified scream of a woman at about 11:15pm and then loud crashing sounds. When I looked down I saw a body on top on the [parking garage. The handling of this whole situation is typical of these buildings....Yesterday property management came into my unit for an "emergency balcony inspection". What I don't understand is how they kept this incident out of the news???
unregistered user on January 26 2015:
@unregistered user..where did you get this information??...this is very disturbing and we as tenants should have been told about the situation. I was under the impression that the balcony glass broke...and that is scary!!!
unregistered user on January 26 2015:
I heard the screams of a women around 11:15pm aprx, that night and alot if banging (hitting the metal on the building Horrified I ran out on my balcony and saw the body too. Not only until the morning did I see blood stains on the exterior of the building beginning from the unit right under from where the glass was missing. I have never in my life seen anything like what had happened. The worst of it, is that many residents don't even know what happened on Friday. We as residents, all deserve at least some sort of announcement to let everyone know what had happened. They don't have to tell us details, but it's important for them to announce that there was an incident where someone fell and that they are investigating it and will be needing to enter into certain units to do so. People outside of our 'absolute community' have no idea this is happened aswell, as there was no mention of it on the news. There has been absolutely no acknowledgment of a human being falling and dying. Ever since the incident I feel very uneasy and can't even look out of my window. This is truly scary. By reading everyone's comments, at least I know I am not the only one who feels this way.
unregistered user on January 26 2015:
I agree...I can't even go out on my balcony anymore. All I can hear is that terrifying scream and all I can see is that broken body on the ground. The property management team has handled this whole incident in a horrible manner. I would really like to know how they managed to keep this away from the media...I just don't get it.
unregistered user on January 26 2015:
I have unable to sleep properly since, I live right across where this incident took place on Friday at 11:10-11:15pm..I heard the crashing and the screams..came out to see the body laying on top of the parking area. Watched the news all night, even called cp24 and was told they are 'unauthorized' to speak of it on television. Every day I see the blood going down the balcony floors..it still has not been cleaned properly. A view that I loved so much I cannot even stare at the moment, my blinds now stay closed.
unregistered user on January 26 2015:
I cannot get over the lack of compassion that has been demonstrated by management. Many of us seem to be badly shaken by what occured and have been given no consideration. An announcement should have been made to the residents, there's a difference between keeping a case confidential, and covering it up.
unregistered user on January 26 2015:
I also heard screaming and then bumping noises on Friday night, I looked outside and saw a few others looking down from their balconies, I then saw a very mangled body in a pool of blood on the platform area above the parkade. I saw a swarm if police cars and I watched them run around and close off the area around the body. I waited to see if an announcement would be made, but nothing. I called the concierge/security downstairs and they said that someone fell or jumped off their balcony but they couldn't confirm if it was an accident or suicide. The guy at security did say that it is under investigation and they will update our buildings.. Then the next day came and went but no updates or news, I contacted one of the local media offices to see if they could divulge any info to help me make sence out of what had happened and they said they are aware of the incident and wanted to cover it but were not granted "authorization" to cover the story. (What does that even mean?). I then contacted security again to get an update and to find out what exactly happened and when all the blood and guts smeared on our balconies would be looked after, they said they didn't know. I explained I was distraught by the amount of blood on our balconies and they said they don't know and they have nothing else to say.... I am left speechless and disgusted by the way this building has handled this incident. They should at least acknowledge what happened this past Friday. Their silence and disregard for what happened is extremely disturbing.
unregistered user on January 26 2015:
The victim actually took his own life and jumped.Sorry that your management couldn't show more consideration and let the residents know.I would all rally together and demand a meeting.
unregistered user on January 27 2015:
This total disregard for the victim of this incident and for the residents who witnessed and heard it is very disturbing... But not surprising. The "management" team doesn't care in the least what the residents think or feel about this or ANY other issues that arise in this building. I had them come into my unit on Saturday for an "emergency balcony inspection" when I called to find out why they came in I was brushed off and told not to worry...that's totally disgusting.
unregistered user on January 28 2015:
I seen the police taking something on a stretcher off the balcony under the one that broke. I can still see the shirt hanging off one of the balconies they did not take down and blood on balcony under the one that broke.
unregistered user on January 28 2015:
if this was a suicide why did this person take the whole glass panel and how? distraught and disturbed.
unregistered user on January 28 2015:
they didnt even clean the remains of the body until saturday close to midnight. they removed the bloody bricks and placed them in a pile. didnt remove them from sight. still left the splatters on the ground. sad. scary. disturbing.
unregistered user on January 28 2015:
That's exactly what I was thinking, how could the glass break if the person jumped to his death? Could jumping over the edge break the glass? Also the night the incident took place, that was the last unit the police went into. Once they went into that unit, I saw the tv turn on, and it was on throughout the night. Since the incident, the apartment has been empty and dark.
unregistered user on January 28 2015:
The whole handling of this incident was and is disgusting. I don't know if the person was killed or committed suicide or if the balcony glass broke...this scares me. An announcement should have been made to the residents immediately. The only thing that seems to matter is maintaing a good reputation for these buildings in the eye of the public....but anyone that lives here knows how bad the conditions in this building really are....
unregistered user on January 28 2015:
I go stand out on my balcony and I can see where the glass is broken and can see they cleaned up all the blood off the balconies. But can still see a bloody pink shirt hanging off one of the balconies. The night it happened I seen about 10 police officers underneath the broken glass balcony, and taken pictures of something small and looked bloody and came out with stretcher and put it on it. And within a couple hours later the police were gone. The next day I looked outside and seen a big pool of blood on-top of the parking garage and see now they're replacing all the bricks where the blood was. I'm hearing all kinds of stories (girl committed suicide? Jumped off balcony? And other stories and it's like nobody knows anything of what happened. You'd think if someone just committed suicide they'd just jump off the top of the balcony and it wouldn't of been broken and wouldn't of been so much blood underneath the broken one. I don't even like to keep my window blinds open anymore and I would like to know what happened because I live here. Every time I go out on my balcony I can see where they wooded up the broken balcony and still can see the blood where they didn't clean it up properly and want to know what exactly happened, the real story it wasn't on the news and nobody's really saying anything.
unregistered user on January 28 2015:
There is a lot of speculation here with what has happened. I agree with everyone, management should come out and explain what has happened. I'd assume if the media isn't allowed to cover it, then management was most likely instructed to keep it under wraps as well. But as someone stated above, a good start would have been management having at least let the residents know an incident had occurred and further police investigation is taking place. I was in the building the night of and heard the police talking to the witnesses and explaining to them that they would be speaking with SIU and that SIU is called into a scene when there is police involvement when either an injury or death had occurred. This may be why everyone is tight lipped about the situation. I spoke to a media outlet camera man and he said the cops were not saying much, but from what he had gathered the cops were chasing someone who had then jumped. Which seems to align with why SIU was involved ... but again, that's just speculation. I also did see many undercover cops and even uniformed Toronto cops which seemed odd to be at a suicide situation. For those of you whom are wondering how the glass broke ... the last story I heard was the person did jump from the 48th floor but first hit the 37th floor glass railing, shattered the glass, smashed the 36th floor glass railing, then hit 16 more floors prior to landing on the top of the parking garage. The cops went to every floor to find "debris". PS: The bloody shirt someone claims to see above the broken glass is actually a towel on the balcony of the 38th floor. Its been there for weeks and is still there now.
unregistered user on January 29 2015:
The biggest issue for me is that the "incident" wasn't even acknowledged. I understand that investigation needs to be done. But sweeping it under the rug like it didn't happen is totally wrong on all levels. Residents have a right to know if it was a crime, an accident or a suicide. I don't expect them to release all the details but acknowledgment would be the right thing to do.
unregistered user on February 12 2015:
Email communication went out to all residents of the building, signed by the condo president. This was a horrific incident that has affected many lives. Police, volunteers, security and management staff should be praised for having to deal with this issue, not to mention the hazardous waste cleanup that will be very costly.

If it was a suicide, it won't be reported in the media in order to reduce copycat attempts. For example, on the TTC, there are dozens of suicides a year, but they are just announced as "medical incidents."

unregistered user on March 5 2018:
Unconfirmed rumors are just that. This series of posts can't concur on the details: man or woman, jumped or pushed, etc. The Marilyn (perhaps The Twin as well) doesn't contain Kitec and I haven't seen law enforcement on site as often as a prior poster has mentioned. As for "call girls [being] everywhere"... have you been to a club lately? Do your research if decide to work with real estate agents, as they can be huge scam artists (the internet renders them obsolete). Note: If the police are being called in, it means that issues are being tackled. The new management (Duka) is doing it's job! Furthermore, if a human being owns/rents property in the other Square One buildings, they will be more likely to slam the Absolute towers (eliminate the competition or lower prices). Curved buildings are all the rage now, and furniture comes in various shapes/sizes.

It has been a nightmare: 1) no hot water unless you want to get up at 5:30am every day 2) Domestic fighting for hours on end 3) Dogs barking all hours 4) Music blaring and partying late. 5) Elevator so slow waited 35 min then took stairs 3 times(14th floor..i have steel rods in my back) 6) I can hear my neighbor walking in high heels in her place next too me. I could of stayed in a Hotel but thought this was the better solution....Man I was soo wrong what a dive! The good: I had a wonderful lady on same floor loan me a chair and she didn't even know me! "Looks are deceiving "
Do NOT be fooled by the cool look of the exterior of these buildings! Or by the new newspaper articles saying they are world renowned buildings! There is NO HOT WATER often, the windows squeak whenever there is the slightest wind. The outlets don't all work, nor do the lights. The elevators are slow - in fact the doors didn't open one time when I got to my floor, so I had to go down to the lobby, try again and actual push the door when I got to my floor again. There are tonnes of inspections on everything - like smoke detectors, anchors in the balcony, air-conditioning filters, etc etc - and they want the occupant to be available for 2 week periods from 9-5 whenever they want access.?? But, it's ok if your not home because they will let themselves in without your permission, or barge in when you are in your bedroom and haven't answered the knock at the door.! There is at least 1 fire alarm per month, along with a monthly test. The amenities are ok. the lobby is cool looking, but the parking situation is so tight and tricky to drive in the underground, partially because people drive like they are in the Daytona 500. Oh did I mention having to cleanup puke on my balcony due to upstairs tenants puking - lovely. Can't wait to move! If you are thinking about here - think again!

I don't know whether to agree or disagree with you, as most of the issues I've faced have been caused by building security and management. I've had them barge in, with no prior notice, and check the opposite of what they claim to be checking. The security company needs to be changed; some of the guards behave in an insolent manner towards residents. The automatic doors constantly refuse to open, despite having admitted residents just prior, and I have to continually rely on gatehouse personnel; they let me in via the aforementioned underground parking. The residents, on the other hand, are so much more friendlier.

"Horrible place to live."
This is by far the worst place I have ever lived. Let's start with the hot water...what hot water??? Next... the elevators....sometime's the wait can be as long as 40-45 minutes and this happens about 3 times a week. On a good day you can get an elevator in 15-20 minutes. The ONLY concern in this building is parking, they are very quick to call the cops when someone is parked there for an extra 5 minutes, but everything else dosen't seem to matter. Next... the gatehouse security, they are the rudest and most disrespectful people I have ever encountered. I have had them tell me to "deal with it" and also hang up on me when I call for a concern. Next... the building is dirty and not well kept. The landscaping is overgrown and full of weeds, with garbage that will not be picked up for weeks. There has been vomit in front of the building for the past 4 weeks that has not been cleaned. It is totally disgusting. Next... I was told the stores would be opened when I moved in May 2012 and still nothing...everything is at a standstill and nobody is even working to get these places opened. Overall....I can't wait to get out of here...DON'T make the same MISTAKE I did....

"Thank God I moved"
I really don't know where to start with how bad this building is. I moved out the second my lease expired. WIthin a week of moving in I knew that I had made a bad decision. Here are just some of the problems: 1) Literally a 10-15 minute wait for the elevator 2) Horrible parking garage. Witnessed a collision in it caused by the stupid design. 3) Horrible management. Very rude. 4) Awful layouts. They look cool at the start, but then you realize that curved rooms are impossible to furnish 5) Annoying gatehouse. If there are a couple people waiting for visitor passes, you will be blocked from entering the building 6) Some floors have issue with hot water 7) Due to the building's bad reputation, the quality of the residents is falling. There are now numerous units that have turned into rooming houses with 5-8 people in them. 8) The facilities are shared between 5 buildings, making them super busy all the time. 9) The quality of the building is awful. Peeling wallpaper in the hallways. 10) Somehow, after being "complete" a year ago, the building still isn't complete. Construction workers are still completing the top floors. Quite possibly one of the worst condos in Mississauga. If you're thinking about buying or renting in there, don't.

2. Elevators. These must be the SLOWEST elevators in any brand new, modern, "luxury" building in the world. There are a total of six cars that serve 48 stories (1 car for every 8 floors). Why do residents have to wait 10-25 minutes? You would think elevators equipped with touchscreen monitors would operate a little better! I wonder; were these elevators on the clearance section? Did the builder get 50% off from some manufacturer in China? There have been several times when I gave up waiting and walked down 20-25 floors. I sure would hate to be on the 40th! 1. Parking Garage. I would love to meet the nutjob who designed this garage. It is literally HELL driving into this garage. The lanes are as wide as one-way lanes in most garages and have a series of hairpin U-Turns at the end of each ramp. Add to that the fact that drivers are still speeding through the garage, and do NOT know how to use the convex mirrors attached to the walls. I'm sure there have already been a ton of scrapes and bumps judging by the marks on the walls, but there will eventually be a pedestrian hit especially in the visitors area the way its designed. If I had seen the garage prior to signing the lease, I would NOT have moved in - Its that bad. Shame on the builder, designers and engineers for designing such a hazardous complex! This could have been a truly one-of-kind landmark tower in Canada but I am just so disappointed at what it has become. At the end of my lease, im moving to a house.

I was so excited to move into these buildings. I have followed their development from planning to construction and loved the architecture. While there are some positives (great architectural design, nice views, decent floorplans and wraparound balconies), the negative points overshadow the good. Here are my top 5: 5. Overcrowded. I would never lease or purchase a unit in a complex with five, 30-56 story high towers. The density within the small complex makes for heavy traffic, crowded amenities, and forget about trying to find a visitors parking spot on the weekends. 4. Fire alarms. When I first moved in it only took a few days before the first false alarm went off. Unfortunately, a pattern emerged. In the weeks that followed we had several false alarms, and ofcourse they are all within 10PM - 7AM. I'm all for safety, and things have improved recently, but when you have blaring fire alarms going off several times a week at 3AM in the morning, it starts to get annoying. 3. Sketchy activities. Someone mentioned an increase of police presence in the complex. At one point I saw police vehicles parked on a daily basis for a week. There are also things like broken light fixtures, holes punched into walls, garbage left on the floors, cigarettes put out on carpets.

I absolutely agree with everything that is posted in this blog. I live at the 70 absolute and its a night mare! 1- there are a lot of East Indians, and Muslims. 2- When this people cook their food it goes through the fans and every one, i mean every one has to smell this food I personally, I dislike this smell and i have to smell it! 3- Elevators- there is always an issue with the elevators, there is always something wrong, some one is moving or is just not working, apart from this the elevators smell like Curry!!! cooked from 2 days ago! 4- There is a very low class people with money living here, there is not politness, there is not class, there is not class. you got to seriously think of moving here if you are willingly to be mix with low class people with not manners, no class and very rude and ignorant! 5- The hot tub at the amenities always smells like curry and people who do not shower in 2 weeks due to their religious believes! If you are willing to mix with this societity then go head and lease at the absolute!

Yes dear writer above, you are the most polite and educated of all of Gods creatures. Its your ancestors who caused genocide against aboriginals and enslave innocent black people in the name of God, or did genocide against millions of Jews. Go take your privileged arrogance and shove it up to your ancestral lands, unless your native you are a filthy immigrant yourself. Muslims wash themselves five times a day before the mandatory prayers, until medieval Christendom taking showers was a societal anomaly. Google what that means.

"CRAPHOLE"
I agree with the reviews below me as well. I have been going through the experience of the firealarm going off at all times and for long periods of times almost gave me a heart attack a few times i couldnt believe it! Not to mention the noise, quality of the units and amenities as well such a huge disappointment :( I was so excited to move here and I feel so let down. Calling management is a nightmare no security and I also live on a high floor and have also had to take the stairs a few times as well. I have even gotten into an altercation in the parking area because of the small spaces and I am a very non confrontational person. If you are planning to move here consider your options carefully because you should look out!! Oh id also like to mention the smoking in the hallway even though they arent "allowed" theres clearly no security to stop them and what is management going to do? they cant answer their phones! smoke drifts into my unit all the time from smoking passerby's its awful.

I have smokers on my floor and sometimes thats all i can smell..with all doors closed as well. Lets move on to the "world class" amenities the pool is freezing , it is not 24 hours, closes on holidays, the cardio room is hot, you have to walk outside to get to them which in winter is a pain. Its January and i am pretty sure the air conditioning is still on in the elevator (in the building) which is not nice if your coming back from a already cold swim, and the floor in the elevator has been cracked since i moved in, in june. The shower stalls in the amenities are an absolute disgrace, they are dirty and it is very cold in there. Honestly if i had time i could think of more but i need to deal with this water issue. All in all it is not worth the money to be living here at all

JUNK part 2"
The elevators are very slow. I live near the top and have had to take the stairs many times. Parking is a joke, small spaces and basically no visitor parking, also you can not get food delivered unless you go down to the lobby and meet them, because there's no parking, just to name a few things. The fire alarm randomly goes off numerous times weekly. the other week it started at about 130AM and went off every hour on the hour until 8am when the fire chief decided he had enough sleep to come inspect it, and it has gone off twice since. It was to the point of going off so often my 3 yr old daughter was afraid to walk past the speakers. Today i went for a glass of water and the water looked like watered down apple juice. management as well as security are a joke, your complaints are ignored, if you call and they need to call you back you might as well forget it..they NEVER call back. There is no phone jack near a cable jack, which was more then a challenge for Fibe TV....look for part 3

My lease is up in 5 months and i can NOT wait to get out of here. This building is a complete nightmare. I very strongly suggest you move else where this place is completely over rated. Lets start with the heat, the thermostat picks and chooses the temp so your either sweating or freezing, the draft from the windows is insane not to mention the wind noise and in high winds the windows scream..literally, very high pitch scream. The quality is terrible, the floors dent and scratch with a drop of anything..even a cellphone, counters scratch very easily. You can hear your neighbors at the elevator and closing their door, the people above you closing doors and dropping things. You can hear their TVs and dishes when you are in the hall. They have a heating system in the hall which is suppose to help keep the temperature of your unit at 20 but you can feel the cold draft coming in..almost like its just the air pulled from the outside.

I strongly DO NOT recommed this building. TOO many issues. ISSUES: NO HOT WATER!: If you like taking cold showers then you should be okay. Since there is no hot water you cannot use the diswasher. FIRE ALARM: Since I lived in the unit the fire alarm went off at least 10+ times... the sound is so loud and annoying. Whats worse is that it last for 20 mins and I have no clue what the front desk is saying (announcement) since the guy has an strong accent PARKING: The spaces are so tight and the entrance and exit is the same lane! You are bound to get into an collision. Lucky for me my parking spot is not on the lowest level which is P6. SECURITY: What security? Does not exist. ELEVATORS: I almost died when I was in the elevator this one time and the elevator stopped for almost 5 mins for no reason, its not reliable. CUSTOMER CARE: Horrible!! WIND NOISE: Try falling asleep with that annoying sound. HEATING: No even distrubution

I agree with all these reasons and beyond. THIS IS A TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE. The water heating is a HUGE issue! No mail delivery. ZERO security. I plan to file an official complaint. If anyone is interested in joining me please post here

Hell yeah I completely agree. This place is Absolute hell. No hot water in the morning when you need it the most. Elevator issue everyday. Especially during the weekend. Lucky if you have 1 elevator working. Cops and Fire fighters seems to have VIP card here as they are here very frequently. Try every day to cops. Stake out. This is an upgraded haven for drug dealers and escort. Stay away
