"Not terrible..."

I lived here for three years. You could see the quality of people slowly starting to slide before I left the building - police cars there often, domestic disturbances, etc. Right before I left in August 2014 the biggest mistake the condo board did was fire the amazing cleaning company they had. Right away I noticed the difference in the cleanliness of the building, quality went down immediately. If you have a dog, you will get treated poorly and people will expect you to wait for another elevator (that take awhile by the way because there is almost always one out of service) because they gave an issue with dogs. Why live in a dog friendly building if you refuse to have a quiet and extremely well mannered dog in an elevator wth you for two minutes. The units themselves have nice layouts. I paid to rent the party room once and was very well taken care of. Guest parking is an absolute nightmare as there are only maybe 15 visitor parking spots for such a large building.

"A very nice condo"

This is a great place to live. Really enjoying my time here. Everyone is friendly and nice. The building is always nice and clean too. I've lived in many places and there are always bad apples that ruin things for the everyone else, no matter where you live. The location is fantastic. I want to buy a unit here when I'm ready.

Ultra Ovation is a pretty nice place to live. I have lived here for half a year, and it is one of the nicest condos you could buy or rent. To address the previous reviewer's concerns: * I have found that yes, there are some young people who live here. If they can afford the mortgage/rent, why not? if you want a geriatric lifestyle, move into a community that caters to that demographic. Being young doesn't make you a bad tenant/owner (and I'm speaking as a FIFTY ONE year old!). I find my fellow condo dwellers here at Ultra to be friendly, hard-working, good neighbors. * Re: The "noise" associated with being on Burnamthorpe. My goodness........the previous reviewer clearly didn't do their research! If they think Burnamthorpe is bad, how would they fare on Yonge and Bloor, or King Street West? Not too well. If you want super, super quiet, well, perhaps consider moving to the country. Based on all the condos going up around Square One, I think most people know what they're buying. * Re: Visitors parking. Parking is at a premium at every single condo in Toronto, or any other large city. My friends have had no trouble getting a parking pass, and getting a spot. In the event they ever did, there are about......hmmmmm.....ONE THOUSAND spaces fifty feet away from the building? Enjoy living at Ultra Ovation. Not perfect, but pretty darn great!

"Reconsider your options!"

Great building from the outside but on the inside it is anything but; The building is like a college dorm. Its all young people. Music is always blaring somewhere. Elevators always smell like someone got high in it. There is only 3 elevators, one is always on service and at least once a month the other one is not working. Stairs are much more appealing than waiting 15 minutes for an elevator that will just end up being packed. The whirlpool is never working, apparently its been defective since day one!! Its right on burnhamthorpe, so keeping the windows open at night is not an option. As well security is on a powertrip, there is not a single night that parking enforcement is not called out for the visitors parking. Its like downtown, forget to get a pass then you have to fork out $20, if you can get a visitors pass. There is over 300 units and only 10 or so visitors spots. Garage door is always damaged due to people that have no height perception and run into the door. Only good thing about this place is the actual floorplans of the units, very nice

The building is nice, management tries their best. Unit owners who live here care and some tenants do too, many though don't. There is always a class of people with NO common sense at all. That ruins everything. Broken glass in the elevator, broken gym equipment, chewing gum on the common area rugs. Some Homo sapiens either haven't evolved yet or straight up pics.
