"Really bad Management &
Security"
The building is at a great location, the units are large & spacious, and the amenities are ok. But I would not recommend this building for just 1 reason: extremely unprofessional, abusive and racist Security staff and careless management. The Security guards & front desk reps at this building are plain abusive and racist. Rude would be a polite word to describe them. Our family avoid passing through the main entrance in order to avoid racial slurs and abusive comments made by Security staff, especially their superintendent Sayed. He has been highly disrespectful and racist to my wife and all the complaints to the management go unheard. The management prefers to just ignore all complaints and do nothing about them.

Is Marquis Property Management still managing this building? I heard it went self-managed. I understand that this is an Arab and Muslim building. I would have thought they would not allow racist security to work there.
It is now self-managed. Lots of units for sale as the smarter ones are getting out. Cheapest prices in the area.
Do not always believe what you read some people have an agenda and it is obvious. Check for yourself the facts and ask people who have knowledge of the building, ask your real estate agent, and visit yourself and form your own opinion.
Absolutely agree with the feedback given on 23-Sep-15. I am a new tenant and writing a similar feedback now.
As a new resident, I called to ask about the building, I was barked at on the phone that you need to fill a form before any information can be given or any service is provided. I submitted a completed form with a certified cheque for the modem and was told that it will take 2 weeks. When I asked why it will take 2 weeks I was shouted at and told 'it is a privilege the building is providing you not a right'. When I called after 2 weeks I was told I haven't had the time. After 4 weeks of no internet I have got a connection from Fido as no one has called. For both 265 and 285 Enfield the lady in mgt off. is rude, arrogant and totally the opposite of what someone in a customer service role should be. I have been in this building for a month but, want to leave as I feel unwelcomed and totally irritated. The garden and tennis court have been in repair mode for over a year and after I asked the security when they will be ready, he laughed and asked me to go and speak to the lady in the office. After 7 weeks I am yet to get a refund for the certified cheque I had submitted for the modem.
we have been owners for more than 15 years and we have been with four management prior and different boards and the last couple of years with this new management and this board the building has seen great improvements and the owners are very pleased and happy with the services we are receiving, look at how clean the buildings are, also when we attend to management or security we always get courteous and to the point answers to any inquiries. You cannot write an angry review for one interaction. from your review it sounded like a personnel issue and you have taken it on the building and management as well security. We as owners do not share your feedback and wish you could have resolved your issue and not just freely write a blanket review. We all can write reviews good or bad but wise ones do not go with someone else review and get what they are looking for themselves or from people who do not have interest either way. From a wiser person.
