"Freesia Review"
My bf has lived there for ~1 yr. Conditions: Generally well kept and clean. Elevator buttons get stuck so elevators can get stuck on floors or the button doesn't light up. The wait is sometimes long for them too. He's in a 1 bdrm and den and it's pretty small. Room for a tv + couch OR a dining table, not both. The windows do an excellent job at muffling outside noise. I never hear neighbours, and I rarely hear the floor above. The place is also pet friendly. Tenants have been very good at keeping their pets in control. People: Lots of young couples. People always seem to be moving in. There are either a lot of first time owners or renters. Location: It's great if you like to be near grocery stores (walking distance to IGA, Choices, Nesters, Urban Fare, H-mart). It's also very close to restaurants, pubs, mall, and skytrain. The location is not good for families with young children as there are many ladies selling themselves outside at night. It's across from a youth shelter, but the folks there are harmless. I feel terrible that they sleep on the streets, but they have to sleep somewhere! The traffic noise from the streets is very loud and lots of young people are partying outside on Fridays and weekends. The windows do a good job, but when you open them for air (no AC in these units) you can't hear your TV. Parking: Some of the parking spaces are incredibly small. You can hardly get out of them if there's a car on your door side.
