Port Moody, BC Condo Reviews : 300 Klahanie Drive
300 Klahanie Drive, Port Moody, BC - Tides at Klahanie
This building has been reviewed 1 times.
Currently under construction, Tides at Klahanie, located at 300 Klahanie Road, will be comprised of 3 lowrise buildings in the heart of Poygon's Klahanie development. Located next to Rocky Point Park on Beautiful Brrard Inlet, Tides at Klahanie offers the best of two worlds; the solitude and peace of nature walks and the urban vibe of Newport Village, both only steps away.
Located within walking distance of the West Coast Express, it is only a 25 minute trip to downtown Vancouver. And one of it's most spectacular features is The Canoe Club, which only residents of Klahanie have access. An outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool, tennis courts, mini gym, lounge with kitchen and fireplace, an outdoor patio area complete with outdoor fireplace and more. It even provides an Activities Coordinator to help you plan your events.

Rented a unit in this building

"300 Klahanie Drive:
faux 'luxury'"
We are renting a brand-new unit in this building. Upon move in, we found a number of minor flaws in the fixtures which Polygon was quick to acknowledge and fix. These included loose bathtub drains, flawed sliding door latch, ill-fitting front door and a flawed garage door opener. At the same time, we noted poor design in the kitchen cupboards (not tall enough) cheaper grade paint throughout the unit, poor bathroom drainage and light fixtures that tend to burn out lights quickly. All in all, for a unit that is advertised as a 'luxury condo', one notes the same 'corner-cutting' design seen in much cheaper construction projects. At the same time, the location is hardly as 'exclusive' as advertized, with the sound of freight trains throughout the night and the complete lack of visitor parking compounded by the constant prowling of Coquitlam Towing. While the proximity to Rocky Point Point Park, Newport Village, and the West Coast Express are definite pluses, on the whole, these units are seriously over-priced.
