"Super convenient!"
I lived here for over 2 years. It's one of the only units I could find that had a great amount of space, with a very functional layout. The location could not be more fantastic! Close to transit, shopping, and so many new restuarants! The strata can be a little much to deal with, but it shows that they are always on top of things. The strata has been very proactive with the upkeep and maintenance of the building.

"Nice area, great
ammenities "
I lived there for 3 years. Pros Great area building amenities, pool and common room clean building great views decent floor layout, very useable, great use of space. Cons REALLY cold in the winter hard to adjust the hot water tank VERY noisy street, had to turn the TV loud to hear it over traffic All in all I really enjoyed living there.

Just wondering where the noise you are speaking of was coming from? Was it 6th street? What part of the building did you live in? Was it a low floor or high floor? I have some clients considering a purchase there and are curious. Any insight you can provide would be helpfull. If you'd prefer to respond privately, info@keithpulling.com Thanks

"What a lemon"
We bought this place because of the amazing location! However, this building is so noisy! Its not just the traffic, it's the trains all night long! We haven't had a decent night sleep since we moved. Not only that, but we've had nothing but issues with the management.

"great community, nice
views"
We moved here 2.5 years ago. The area is amazing, you can walk to EVERYTHING. Groceries, transit, places to eat, stores to shop in..the new HUGE waterfront park by the Quay is nice, farmers markets close by, really a great neighbourhood. We don't live very high up, yet our views are sweeping and pretty. We really like the building, never had any issues with the people living near us, hardly see anyone weekdays. The pool is hardly used, same for the media room. They gym seems to be used a lot, but not weekday nights, so it depends. On the down side, the unit is colder than it should be, but, you never hear the neighbours. I guess there are always trade offs. We hear a lot of traffic noise, but I can't hear the trains other people in our area mention, so, not a big deal. One expects some noise in a city. We lived in Pitt Meadows for 14 years, it was noiser there and had more crime, from needles on the streets to people yelling at all hours. We were really surprised our first new year how quiet it was! We love our unit, it is well laid out. We are not the first owners, but it was a super clean place, everything worked.

"Quality building"
The signage mentioned in an earlier report is ugly, granted. The Lobby has now had upgrades; real plants and lovely planters and new paint and the table mentioned is gone. The alternative to a small notice on the front window regarding units for sale is a lot better than for sale signs hanging outside. The Strata here is one of the best I have seen after owning three condos, and has kept strata fees reasonable. The management is the best that I have seen. So,for me, it is an excellent building, save for too many rentals, and high heating costs.

"Strata gone wild..."
Most recently our building has added signs on common floors to give directions to people. Directions to the pool, the parking, the exit... I didn't realize people in our building needed directions to find out where to go. Our place is becoming a shopping mall. There's even a notice on our front door telling people where to find real estate listings for our building. Previous to that, a person must have been nice enough to donate some old colonial oak type table because it found its way in one of our entrances. I didn't realize that we were trying to make people from 50 to 100 years old category comfortable in here. Yes, that's the motto of our building. If you have something to donate and your a resident in The Point please donate your unwanted items. We will find a place in one of our entrances to stash it. I mean why get rid of your junk... The Point Strata will make good use of it. Did I mention the 4 plastic plants in our entrance... It's a jungle in here. You can thank our local dollar store located below our building for those. Got to keep em in business. Well... If not haven't fallen over yet laughing, I'm one ticked off owner.

we have just moved into 610 victoria. lovely area. the units are much colder than we thought, expect high hydro bills. the windows have a great deal of condensation. the ammenities, when availble, are nice. all in all we do like our unit, we just expected higher quality for the price and date built. there are signs every where. .. the plastic plants are tacky, but it does not really matter to me. what matters is that we like our unit. which we do :)

you get condensation because you don't turn your fan on like your fan in the winter months...read the owners manual on the website. I have never once got condensation on my windows
unregistered user on July 15 2013:
We have our fans both running a fair amount, so much so we had to replace one of them! The condensation is an issue, we now open the windows the tiniest bit AND leave the fans on, this seems to help the most. It is a great place to live, safe and nice area, but the units are far colder than I expected, and like the cold. The good news is that in the summer it never gets too hot, the cross breeze is delightful. I love living here, and have no real issues, yet, I would not dismiss the cold and condensation issue so quickly.
