This is the worst building I've ever lived in. First, when we moved in they were doing "renovations" so I thought we were getting in at a good time. Turns out the renovations are just a company tiling over existing tile and painting over existing paint. So now, you can see the old tiles behind the new and you can see the nasty red and green paint behind the new. This is an example of the property management's (Transglobe's) effort in this building. The building is infested with roaches and mice. We live on a high floor and have seen dead mice in the hallway in front of our apartment, cockroaches climbing up the wall in front of our apartment. If you go to the basement to do laundry there are cockroaches all over the place. In the summer, when the elevator doors open, you can see the roaches scatter in the basement. The elevators are the worst part. They rarely work together (I think the longest I've seen them working together is MAYBE a week). But they're often down at the same time, resulting in everyone in the building taking the stairs. Its an eleven story building and we have two elevators. 90% of the time only one is working. I've had to walk up the stairs with groceries and laundry on several occasions. Transglobe's answer to this is "We're looking into how much it will cost to fix them versus replacing them". I've been hearing this for two years. The worst part is now they're advertising 2 bedrooms for $1200!! DO NOT PAY THAT MUCH TO LIVE HERE. All I can say is, STAY AWAY. Transglobe has stretched themselves so thin by buying up so many buildings across Canada they can't even manage ONE properly. Just search transglobe on google or facebook and you'll see what I'm talking about. The consensus is the same across the Country.

"Horrible Building"

I totally agree with above comment.
It's even worse now, in 2013. The building has been bought out by TIMBERCREEK management, and they have renovated again! Still have not put in a ramp for wheelchairs or strollers. The dust and dirt are inconceivable. The front of the building (at the entrance) had a pipe burst in December and it still (August) hasn't been repaired. There is loose dirt and stones all in the front and the walkway consists of boards. They paid over 1 million dollars to fix the elevators (we were without for 6 mo) and they still don't work and one is down every week. They have now put in dishwashers in the renovated units and are charging MORE money! Yet the ceiling in the basement looks ready to fall in from water damage, and there is a constant leak near the furnace room. They decided to impliment a new locking system on the doors, charged everyone $40 deposit on the "Key" then propped the back loading door open for 6 months. DO NOT MOVE HERE! IT IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED IN.
R u still living there
I live there and it's no better. The landlord could give a shit, the manager is awful. Roaches, leaks...and they charge 1200 for a 1br now
