"The good, bad and the
ugly"

I am renting a 2 bedroom apartment in this building, overall we're happy living here but here's a few points potential buyers might want to know. The parking stalls are very small, we have a new mid-sized sedan and we have 6" on either side of the car when parked. Very hard to get in and out of the car, it's the main reason we're moving after the lease is up. (I've never seen such small spots, seriously!) The trains blow their horns all day and night when they come to the crossing by the quay, it makes the skytrain noise seem like a whisper. It's a rental building, lots of young people. The area is still under construction (june 2010) so there is a lot of dust and construction noise still. The building seems of average construction, several unfinished areas. Good security so far, and a good building manager to keep the partyers in line. As a long time New West resident I'm impressed with the improvement in the neighbourhood, lots of police presence I guess. Should be a great area in a couple of years!

Very little noise from other people, fairly quiet aside from the late night trains' whistles and shunting. Unbeatable convenience with groceries, the rest of the mall, and the skytrain right downstairs. However: Two elevators for 260-ish units (and the stairs aren't viable for any of them). As the building gets closer to fully occupied, the elevator crowding and waits have gotten increasingly ridiculous even when neither is tied up for a move... And with all the rental units in this building, there are a *lot* of moves. unregistered user on February 19 2013: The building manager has been jerking me around for weeks to get an extra fob for my apartment. unregistered user on May 26 2015: building manager is always babysitting her grandson or the cleaning ladys kids. front desk is like a daycare center some days how can she do her job when she has little kids in tow. or if there is a emergency !! place could use a new strata manager to hire better people !! unregistered user on December 2 2016: Write a comment about this review Write a comment about this review Enter image text:
