Central Park Place consists of three concrete towers: 5645 Barker Avenue, 5652 Patterson Avenue and 4160 Sardis Street. The complex gardens are like a miniature version of Central Park with beautifully landscaped grounds.
Central Park Place is in a fantastic location, just a few blocks from SkyTrain and all the shops and services in the Metrotown area.
The complex features all the amenties such as a gym, hot tub, an outdoor pool, tennis courts and more. Some of the views from the suites include downtown Vancouver, the North Shore mountains, and of Central Park.

"Great Location and
Amenities"
This complex has great amenities and the location is very convenient. You are very close to Metrotown yet not to close, still feels like you are in more of a quiet residential area. The garden is one of the nicest features, you don't have to leave the complex to enjoy the great outdoors. Being an older building, the floor plans are quite good and spacious, and the value for the area seems to be quite reasonable as well. The only thing to be careful of here is that I have heard on more than one occasion that there may be some issues with the building that will need to be repaired and there will be an assessment. Worth looking into before Buying.
Really recommends this building for:
Students, First Time Buyers, Young Couples

This place is a dump my supervisor lives here...lol
Totally agree with the review. Ive lived here since 2001 and couldn't be happier. to the person who left the "place is a dump comment" Id take a look at your supervisor first... The common areas are immaculate, maintenance and repairs are taken care of immediately and we have just about finished a thorough exterior revitalization. New paint, new balcony coating, and new windows and patio doors for all three buildings. What kind of "dump" would undertake that? Im somewhat offended. :( Personally, I have renovated and modernized my entire suite with granite counters, designer lighting, new washroom fixtures, hardwood flooring, and custom cabinetry Id gladly compare it to any "brand new" apartment on the market; dollar for dollar its a fantastic value... :)
one of worst places to live and own. the building is old and has its issues, even with the minor touchups expect severe repair assessments in the future. once you buy you are stuck, hard to sell because the property can't be rented. if you decide to move expect to pay for an empty place for months on end
shitty elevators, long waits
The buildings are just being finished 2010 December. lovely amenities such as a 50foot pool work out gym tennis courts sauna whirl pool meeting room and guest room.. 300ft to central, what more can one ask for.
My girl friend owns a unit here and she really likes being close to skytrain and safeway/IGA/shoppers drug and Metrotown. If you are looking to buy and rent out, skip this place. But, if you want to live there, I recommend it. Units facing North and on higher floors have stunning views of mountains, city and some ocean view, especially at night. Huge balconies are bonus in my opinion and the fact that no rentals is a good thing because owners usually take care of the place. There was a HUGE upgrade done in 2010, including all new storm windows, exterior paint of all buildings, new coding on balconies and more.
come check it out..finished the building envelope Dec 2010..very quiet place no noisy parties..grounds are always gorgeous ..lovely pool and gym..walking distance to Metrotown skytrain..and bus service going all the way to Stanley PArk.
30+ year old building needs a lot of updates. Overall OK.
Sounds like a nice complex. Are there any one bedroom units that face West ? I've seen bachelors and two bedrooms for sale but no one bedrooms that face West. Does such a thing exist ? Anybody ?
can't rent ever! one of the biggest drawbacks
