Novo I at 9288 University Crescent was the first phase of the Novo towers in the Simon Fraser University grounds. Built by Intergulf the buildings feature suites ranging in different sizes and different size balconies or decks. Some units even have 1,000 sqft. balconies with beautiful views to the North and East. The buildings come with a gym and sauna and is conveniently located in the “Univercity” area of SFU.

"Quality and Maintenance??"
I recently visited a unit in the building and was quite disappointed with the quality of the finishings and the building maintenance. The finishings in the unit itself seemed quite cheap or low end to me, the building is a few years old now and has not worn well. For the prices they are asking I am certainly not impressed with the product. The other thing I noticed is that the building maintenance seems to be lacking, there is a lot of staining on the building and moss etc. I would have expected it to look better for the age. On a positive note, there are some great views and the buildings concrete which is an advantage over some of the other ones at SFU.

"Finishings looked a
little cheap"
I visited a unit in this building when it was new. It looked nice but the finishings looked a little cheap to me. The laminate and cabinets definately didn't look high end. However, overall the building is nice and the neighbourhood is very good.

I have lived here for 3 years now as a renter, and would NEVER buy in this building. It is utter crap. As stated, the building is worn and ill maintained considering it's age. My car has been broken into TWICE, and all fixtures inside the apartment are cheap and of poor quality. There is no "gym" but instead a treadmill on the bottom floor, and there have been several police incidents inside the building. ugh...
I have lived here for 3 years and my condo leaks and it still hasn't been fixed.there have been drug labs dial a dope and gangsters living here.The finishing here are cheap.I would not recommend buying here.look elsewhere...LEAKY CONDO
I bought a place here in 2011 and for the most part it has been very nice to live here. Very few problems and the building management company and caretaker get things in a reasonable amount of time. As for the above comments, they sound like they have come from some over spoilt princess and very exaggerated. try some of the buildings down town that are way more expensive, rubbish quality and the unlicensed rentals, drug deals and more besides makes this place look like a monastery. Everything in Perspective.
