"Excess rentals means
younger renters that can
impact your unit's value."

Pros: great views from upper floors, awesome location near False Creek and parks. Pet-friendly building (if that's important). Cons: there's an ambulance station on the block so the sirens are constant - and LOUD, even on the 25th floor. There's a nightclub across the street that provides thumping and police visits on a regular basis. Many immature tenants: recently the mgmt posted signs asking residents to please refrain from dropping trash and animal feces from upper balconies (nice, eh?).

I have owned at the 501 for 6 years and have never seen any droppings or any notices to stop. This building has a very good strata and keeps the owners responsible. Our building is clean, very well maintained and is in a great location. The ambulance can be annoying at times but they do not start their sirens until they are on route. Our facilities are way better than most biuldings who have to share. Easy walking distance to everything you need. Many condos are on the outskirts of shopping and have to drive , not us ! I hope the person that wrote this review has moved. Sounds like they need to be in a retirment home.

I saw this review prior to moving in here as a tenant in May. So far, I agree with "awesome views and location". Ambulance - yes, it is loud, but duration at high volume is short. Haven't been bothered by the club yet, and I'm overlooking Richards. Other residents/tenants seem very friendly and I haven't encountered immature behaviours. Building nicely maintained.

The volume of sirens in Vancouver is RIDICULOUS. Why are they needed at 4 in the morning when there is little to no traffic on the street?

"Nice views"

I visited a condo on the southeast/east side of the building and it had nice views of False Creek. The place was decent. Many facilities in the complex.
