"C grimwood"
Beautiful heritage building around fabulous shopping area and galleries. Close to the ocean and filled with amazing walking opportunities. The building is impeccably clean , Has great management and is perfect for the professional who finds themselves traveling a lot. The building is filled with a lot of forward thinkers. People are friendly courteous and open minded. I have formed numerous friendships while living in the building and continue to do so We have families, singles, married couples both straight and gay, dogs, cats, and every nationality you can imagine. Everyone is welcome.

"Disappointed"
I was so looking forward to moving into this unit. The outdoor courtyard was very interested and the unit was nicely styled. I am a big fan of quiet buildings, and I though the so called "rock solid construction" (a mixture of concrete and steel beams) would be the best noise reducing combo. For a building with concrete walls, I was very disappointed to find that you can hear your neighbours talking, their music, and the banging of their cabinets. There are no soft closing hinges on the cabinets, and all you hear is banging all the time. The layout of the building isn't great. To get to the garbage room, you go down multiple flights of narrow stairs (when carrying bags of trash, this is not easy). The unit parking is way down on P3, about 5 half-stories of public parking down. The bicycle room is on P2, so to get your bike out you have to bike up 3 half stories. When it rains, a big puddle forms on the 3rd floor (in Vancouver, that means there is a constant puddle on the floor). The interior courtyard is paved, so not only visually disappointing but a major noise factor. People coming in late at night make a huge amount of noise, and when your bedroom faces the courtyard this is an issue. Finally, I have yet to meet a friendly person in this building. No one makes eye contact, let alone says hi or holds a door for you when you're carrying a heavy load. There are loads of families, tons of dogs (some with owners that let them bark all the time), but no one neighbourly.

I have lived here for 5 years now. Love it! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Have made many wonderful friendships here. Love the breeze way, very European. Often the same set up as kings and queens have in Belgium. So sorry to hear of your disappointment
