Alberni Place at 1500 Alberni Street is a excellent building with full concierge services. Located steps to Robson shopping, Stanley Park and seawall. Some units feature view of North Shore Mountains, Coal Harbour and Stanley Park.

"Substandard heating
system"
Too hot in summer, too cold in winter. The building heating system is by way of radiant panels in the ceiling, however they are antiquated, some panels burnt out or undersized resulting in very inefficient heat transfer. we had to wear down jackets inside with the heat turned up as high as it could go.

"Good location"
Units are not air conditioned and there is no air handling system, open windows are only ventilation. Heat is supplied by electric radiant ceiling panels so electricity costs high. Tiny balconies, barbecues not permitted. Plumbing issues frequent. Common areas very dated and 'gym' is small and poorly equipped. This building has no amenities whatsoever. The best feature are the concierges who despite the aging structure do their best to deliver 5 star service. Many units not inhabited full time, high percentage of offshore owners so one rarely encounters others in elevators and common areas.
