"Leaky Condo"
Cypress point was leaky condo. A partial repair was done to the buildings in 2000. Buyers should use caution. Engineers at the time the owners agreed to a partial repair stated that future repairs will need to be done and therefore owners could have another hefty assessment. Being a leaky condo owner is a terrible experience and buyers need to be very careful. The key here is Cypress Point was a partial repair and not a complete repair.

"decent older buildings"
Cypress Point is a decent, older low-rise complex. It has secured parking, which the complex next door (Woodridge) does not currently have (at time of writing). It had / has a by-law prohibiting dogs. The South-East building (7671) is only rental units (and officially no pets, although dogs were sometimes seen coming out of the building). It is not a modern, luxury complex, but the location is very good, and it seemed like it was reasonably well maintained.
