The Winchelsea at 3738 Norfolk Street is part of a three building project by Adera. The other Winchelsea buildings are at 3733 Norfolk Street and 3183 Esmond Avenue. The complex is conveniently located near Boundary and Canada Way for quick access to Highway 1.
A beautiful little fountain greets you in the courtyard between the 3733 Norfolk and 3738 Norfolk buildings. With no highrise buildings in the area, views from the suites can be spectacular, especially to the west and north.

"Owner of Winchelsea"
I have been living in this building for over 3 years and am totally impressed. It is very quiet and the residents are qll quite friendly. Beautiful views of the mountains and no high rises to block the skyline. Centrally located with an easy on-off to the highway yet very little traffic noise. I would recommend this building to anyone looking for a quiet place to live

"Meh"
Not a huge fan of this building. Car gets broken into whether there is a gate or not. Suspicious illegal activities going on where people are going in and out for god knows what.

"9 year resident"
I have lived in the winchelsea for 9 years and love the location. great access to the freeway, yet we don't get the noise from the freeway. building is kept clean and well-maintained as are the grounds. residents are quiet and no partiers. dog-friendly. we had issues with security a few years ago but the suspected "problem" has since moved away and security has been beefed up with security cameras, keyless entry, and new parking garage gates.

"years ago"
When I first purchased a unit in the building the place was very well kept, but a few years later, it all went to hell. Some of the reasons which led me to sell it were the grouchy neighbours, poor maintenance of the grounds and common areas; the various smells which resinated throughout the stairways and hallways were unbearable. I even ended up selling my place for less than the original purchase price.

Economy and housing prices went down, so you didn’t sell for less because of a smell in the hallway.

"Poor Location - Theft and
Crows"
In 2007, my girlfriend at the time (now my wife) used to rent a suite in this building. My car was broken into twice in the underground visitor parking (not gated). Also, potential buyers should know that during parts of the year, HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of crows frequent this area (Willington). This blackness covers the sky, building rooftops and powerlines and these crows are noisy with their squawking. Honestly, it's a little creepy. The place just had a bad vibe to it -- people didn't seem to friendly either. A lot of miserable faces. The unit itself was decent. The kitchen was a nice size for a one bedroom unit. Maintenance of the building seemed ok... I can't really comment too much on that. Overall, I do not recommend this building simply for the property crime and the crows!

Yes this building is on the migration path of the crows, they pass by just before the sun goes down, and are in the area for approximately 10 minutes. I wouldn't say it's creepy but it is definitely unique!

visitor parking is now gated the crow phenomenon is kinda cool

Security cameras were put in, as well as a new fob system instead of keys and new remote garage gates.
