"The worst place to buy
!!!!"

I bought a Clairidge Court condo and got out by the skin of my teeth, it was the worst place I could have ever invested in. The strata minutes do not tell the truth, just go to one strata meeting before you buy !!! It will be the best desicion you will ever make if you are considering buying there. You won't walk out of the meeting you will run fast and as far away as you can.Find out about the insurance rate for the building, so many claims have been made it is now through the roof. The building can no longer make claims because of the costs, now it all lies on the owners hands even if it is the buildings responsibility. Also the strata rates have increased by approx. 20% several times, no where near the normal 2-3%. Be so carful especially first time buyers !!! I wouldn't want my worst enemy to live there...

I will look else were. unregistered user on August 27 2011: Thank you for the warning!! unregistered user on January 24 2013: I just wanted to say that i have owned a condo in claridge court since 2008. This year(2013) my entire condo was flooded from the unit above. Strata insurance came right in immediately, and they are completely redoing my unit...for free. They have covered everything!
