"Awful living experience "

I was not told the unit I was in was a flooded unit but I did raise the question why the washer/dryer was installed in an abnormal place instead of the norm, because I saw wire connection, etc. Now I knew why. When it rains hard, the window seals will break because it has been a temporary fix all the way and the workers told me they had to take the entire windows out to get it fixed permanently. The landlord probably won't go for it because it's the same way when I had my bathroom filled with water/moisture since before Christmas and it took them at least 3 months to temporary fix it up because they ran out of time to show the unit after I gave my notice. It's the insurance company $ they're waiting for so that out-of-pocket $ would be minimized. No compassion or anything was ever offered even though as a tenant, I did not have a full functional bathroom for 3 months. For 3 months, I was staring at a wood frame because the drywall needed to be fixed. No rent reduced to compensate the inconvenience. Also, for 7 months, next to no sleep at nights were gained because of the neighbor upstairs. No progress had been made and the noise continues to this date. Was told to document this every single incident and so you will spend each of your day doing so. If you have a maid or a secretary and lots of money, sure. But for someone who has a day job and being a professional, good luck!
