"A solid older building
built in 1984."

A good solid concrete building which was built to low-maintenance commercial standards which are generally more durable than regular condo standards. The ownership turnover is very low and many units have had the same owners since they were new. There are a limited number of two bedroom suites and the two-story suites with large patios, these units rarely change hands. There is currently a mix of resident owners and renters. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is prohibited in common areas and on balconies and patios. There is a high awareness of security, common areas including elevators have video cameras and the exterior doors and elevators can only be operated by electronic fobs which time stamp all activity. The building is subjected to random unannounced patrols by drug sniffing dogs and there is an informal "neighbourhood watch" attitude amongst owners. There is a full-time resident manager who patrols the building and takes care of routine maintenance of common areas. Facilities include a squash court, a racketball court and a well equipped gym.. The extremely central location is hard to beat. Shops, restaurants, theatres and St. Paul's hospital are all within easy walking distance. I have enjoyed living in the building for over a decade and I will probably be here for another decade.
