"Pharoah ants"

Horrible. 2 years in a row now, management cannot get rid of the ants. Beware if you decide to live at 16 yonge st.

"Excellent building to own
a unit in"

Security and the adherence to the condo rules and conditions is one of the best reasons to own in this building. Management is very concerned with safety and maintaining the integrity of your investment. Sorry if others don't understand this but there are rules for a reason.

"Terrible Management"

I mistakenly left my keys at my office. My fault, but it happens! That is what a 24-hour concierge is for right? I was told by both security guards that unless it was during office hours they could not let me in. EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE A KEY!!! They have been told that they will get fired unless it is a medical emergency. My options? Calling a locksmith who will charge $250 to come and try to pick the lock, and even more to drill it if picking it doesn’t work, which will break my lock, I will lose my $200 deposit and not be able to lock my door in the morning when I go to work. Security told me that they are telling everyone this happens to, to get a spare key made and give it to a friend who lives close by. How does this make any sense? I was told I was at least the 20th person who this had happened to, and the others called locksmiths. That is over $5000 dollars people in the building have had to pay because of this stupid decision. I have lived in 4 other buildings and I have never heard of not being let into your condo if you forget your keys. I had to take a cab to my office in North York, gambling on the fact that my pass to the building worked at midnight, and paid $100 for the cab ride there and back.

	Comment on this Review: unregistered user on June 22 2013: I am with management on this one. They can get sued if tehy make a mistake and open the door for an authorized person. "Terrible elevators..."

I've been renting in this building for a few years now. The elevators are so slow and frequently out of service. It is common to have a 10 minute wait or longer. This problem has been going on since there start and they still have not been able to resolve all the elevator issues. There is no access to the stairs from the ground floor so you are forced to wait every time.

"nice building doesn't
make up for bad
management "

I owned a condo here. I was nearly the first one to move in. security is um....am I allowed to say harassing to residents. One pays over $2000.00 a month for mortgage and the security/concierge give you no rights. It's like mice living in a rat hole. Can't even enter and exit the building in privacy. Not worth it.
