"160 Fredrick st."
This is a spacious building but it is very noisy!!! You hear conversations on the street and I am high up. Walls are paper thin. Garbage trucks pick up garbage at at 4:00am. It wake me up everyday. The windows do not block out any sound. You also hear arguments which occurs on the streets. There are shady people walking around at night and I have children, so I am afraid to go for a walk. The residents are mostly retirees and they do not like kids. Some are very nice but most are very judgmental about having kids in the building. You get dirty looks in the elevator when you have your kids with you. The staff is very friendly but I don't think I will renew my contract due to the noise and the the other tenants.

I am a resident of the building and wish to correct some information. Front St E is a busy, downtown location with tourists, students and many local residents. The building has several families with children who are welcomed with smiles. The pool and squash court are active indoor spaces for children. Garbage is picked up once per week in the evening, not at night. The building construction is of a better quality than many newer buildings and maintenance is at luxury condo level, yet the condo fees are a bargain for the size of the units. The Board of Directors is talented and dedicated. As of Jan16 there are no residences for sale or lease.
