"Don't buy here"

Poor maintenance record, suppression of important engineer report from 1995. Ongoing problems with getting council to maintain this building. Assessments on this building are lower than the other side. Council does not follow the Strata Act, fails to listen to owners. More upgrading done inside and outside balconies have been left to rot.

Looking at a unit that was for sale in Stadacona.

Things have changed drastically since this review. The complex is presently undergoing extensive repairs to the tune of $7.4million

Still has ongoing problems with commercial property owner, illegal rentals and no pet violations. Special levy amount has increased. Proposed changes to bylaws does not change ineffectual members of council. There may be a facelift going on the outside, but ongoing problems with decisions that are still benefiting 1 person does not make for enjoyable living.

Viewed several units this week; the building is clean, updated throughout, and the strata reports I saw didn't raise any concerns; looks like they have worked hard to deal with the issues mentioned above.

Still not finished with the front entrance remediation, which should have been included in the past remediation. Council is not quick about fixing problems. Investor is selling his units cheaply which is lowering market value of others

Still problems with deciding where it is important to spend the money. Redoing the laundry room when it has already been updated in the last few years. Most of the same council, commercial owner are the same, so same problems. Took them a long time to finish the front.

Compared to other condos in the area, this place is great. I bought in here, beautiful courtyard and large patio decks.
