"Tried - True and Solid
Building - Roberts House"

This is a real gem in the midst of Victorian tradition, horse pulled carriages and public access from Clover Point to Ogden Point, breakwater and beyond. It was formerly owned by the same Japanese owners of the Ocean Point Resort. They sold it in the late 90's. The building is a solid concrete and steel building that has been upgraded in a number of ways. Good demographic of people with very little turnover and never a for sale sign in front, as they don't reach this stage and are generally snapped up in the building. There are gardens in the back, underground parking, storage lockers with of course about 200 units. Units include studio, one bedroom, two bedroom and four penthouses at the top. The views are unsurpassed from all directions and offer uniques vantages of Victoria, the straits, mountains and city. Hot tub, sauna, pool, guest suites, exercise and weight room, laundry room, Roberts reception room area round this building out nicely. Units have good bones with a galley kitchen that opens to dining area and living room. Over half a foot of concrete divide apartments from top to bottom and units feel private and quiet inside with little or no distinguishable noise from units. It is pet friendly and very close to parliament, downtown or the ocean, dog parks and walkways on the other end. Beacon Hill park borders it and it is just a walk in the park to end up in Cook Street Village to the East or closer to James Bay Village a short walk west.

"Classic retro 70's
tower.."

Back in the day this building was the Cat's meow or make that the cat's pajama's...It was marketed as "Luxury Rentals" for Canadian Snow-Birds..Sold off in 1998 as Condo's and the rest is history..Many upgrades and improvemnts since that time..Three new elevators...new roof, upgraded drainage around the perimeter of the foundation..New H2O boilers ensuring VERY hot water always..Heat and hot water is included in your strata-fee as is the heated indoor pool, jaquzzi, sauna and decent weight-room and community-room...Two guest suites are available to owners at a very reasonable fee of $40/nite...Full-time caretakers and office staff make Roberts House a very desirable location to call home in the Provincial capitol of British Columbia...Walk score is very high as the building is mere blocks from downtown Victoria and the business district..Excellent access to transit in front of the building and surrounding blocks..If your looking for a well-built steel and concrete high-rise condo which affords some amazing views that may require some reno's bring your plans and decorating ideas and call Roberts' House home...
