"Great Location"
Huge problem with residents who smoke. Generally a good place to live, but difficult if you are not a smoker.

Location"
Driving into Meadowbrook Estates gives the impression of having landed in a beautiful park. The abundant trees, flowers and shrubs (all maintained beautifully) lend an air of arriving to an environment where traffic, noise and city business have been left behind. There is a real sense of community within the complex with a coming together of residents who appreciate the old fashioned Know Your Neighbour attitude. The Clubhouse, pool, additional guests suites and exercise areas are an added bonus. Maintenance of each building and grounds are a priority. Can't imagine living anywhere else.

Love living here, good folks, the location is great. Previous council was progressive with new council just in place.

"condo for rent"
FOR RENT unit 302 1964 . nice clean unit with beautiful hardwood floors . however a little small for us not having a den for the office. only 1 parking spot is a pain .landlord will not allow pink rooms to be painted. Can not live with that.

"The people are awful"
Worst building I have ever lived in, If you are 98 and love to gossip and are very catty this is a great building for you. If you are kind to your neighbour follow the rules and respect others this is not for you. The strata are the worst, they break the rules and gossip and spend their days watching and complaining about their neighbours

Certainly some valid comments which, as owners, we have observed. Confidentiality is questionable, and, although the volunteers serve the complex well, there is little room for fresh ideas. Both Strata Council and Lifestyles are anemic! We wonder what the management firm really does to earn our support (and money). Has great potential if current regime can relinquish control

Interesting comments as a resident and former council member it is interesting to hear this kind of rambling. It would have been a much better idea to approach council with your fresh ideas so they could possibly be implemented should all residents agree with you. Another neat idea would be the fact that you allow your name to stand for council at the next AGM so you can make a difference. A Former president

Life is full of those who sit on the sidelines and complain. Thank goodness Meadowbrook has many who step up and make a difference with actually getting out a doing. The impact of those who volunteer makes a tremendous difference to Condo Community living. I for one am proud to be one of those "Volunteers" and believe if you wish to see change, make it happen with concrete solutions and a little effort.

This is a worry. I would like to know which building this refers to. I love my fresh air and would hate to spend $400,000 on a condo where I cant use the balcony or even have my doors and windows open due to smokers.
