"Almost bought here...
glad I didn't."

Almost bought a unit in this building before we discovered they'd been having building envelope issues. Leaky condo. Buyers beware.

Water was draining thru the membrane and down to the lower end of the parkade. CAUTION unregistered user on March 29 2013: unregistered user on march 29 2013, if you compare this building to others in the city i know that this building would get high marks to most others, also the management, caretaker & maintenance are all done @ a high level. I think that whoever wrote these negative remarks must have been someone with a pet peeve to run down a top condo in this manner!!!! unregistered user on April 14 2014: Thanks for the comments. Lots of patches in the underground parkade and we saw water leaking in several places. The parking spot had water leaking from a pipe for a long time. unregistered user on January 21 2018: Was told that building membrane needed to be replaced above parkade but strata couldn't afford it. Beware. unregistered user on October 3 2018: thought about buying here then a neighbor told me that they have more rules than they have people living here. That condo owner said that you have to have written permission for everything you do. I was told that if you need a new area rug you need permission. Birthday or Christmas come in you need permission and permission means forms that you pay for. unregistered user on October 3 2018: I heard that the elevator breaks down a lot and then you walk stairs a lot of stairs. unregistered user on October 15 2018: Today October the 15 2018 the condo had yet another leak from floor 9 to the bottom and just like last time the management is going to not be available for help. very bad management. "Quality and Size Lacking"

I had a freind that bought in this complex when it was new. At the time we thought, wow this is a good deal, nice location with a river view etc. There were signs all down Marine Drive advertsing that you could own for little down, low monthly payments etc. I almost bought in here myslef but after seeing the finished product I am glad I did not. Quality of finishings is OK at best, and the units and common areas just feel small to me. Also, I have heard from the freind I know in the building that there may be some maintenance issues?? Location is not bad although there are not really a lot of services close by.
