"Older building with good
bones"

This place was built in the 1980s but, unlike most condominiums, it was built to commercial standards. They now have a comprehensive depreciation report which indicates that most elements of the building are still in "good condition". Doubtless some major expenses will come up in the next few years (plumbing and roof seem likely) but it is probably much more sound than similar age condos built to non-commercial standards. The location is outstanding but two thirds of the block is underdeveloped for such a prime location. The building has two wings, one 4 stories and one 11 stories, and the building next door is only 2 stories - right in the heart of Downtown! One has to wonder when the developers will come knocking.

"850 Burrard Vancouver BC"

850 Burrard Careful This 25 years old building didn't have any major renovation. Original roof, plumbing, exterior. All this major repair will probably need to be done soon. Location is good but building is old. Noisy environment with firewall and hospital 2 block away.
