" Opinion of the complex
after staying there for a
while"
I have friends who live in this complex and they enjoy a quality home in an excellent location .They have no complaints regarding the Strata managmentor the property its self. Should I move to this area of B.C. then I would definitly be looking in this complex to buy.

"6- 5839 Panorama Drive"
This is a well maintained unit, so please be careful of bad reviews. They could be coming from an ex-spouse, or disgruntled employee, or even a moron co-worker. This is a well maintained complex, the strata counsel is not corrupt, and the meetings are open to everyone. The recent depreciation report for yesterday April 2 2014 was glowing, and our insurance ratings have gone down accordingly, We have no crime, neighbors watch each other and genuinely care. Two properties are owned by the RCMP personnel. So please be careful of unregistered comments as they could be coming from competition, as it is fierce for town-homes presently. This is a must see neighborhood, and complex, and of course all strata meetings, and paperwork are available upon request. This unit is the largest in the complex and it is very desirable. Thank you

Have lived here for nine years - really well managed, no assessments, and great strata - the review is laughable - either they have an axe to grind, are reviewing the wrong place or have a mental issue.
unregistered user on April 3 2014:
We have live here for three years, this is a well run Strata, and well maintained. It's a good bang for the buck, who ever put that comment above have a personal agenda.
unregistered user on July 13 2016:
Lived here 8 years so far and never a problem. Love it! Never an assessment either.

"Quite, good neighbors,
well maintained"
I've lived in Forest Gate for about 6 months as a first time home buyer and I'm very impressed. Most of the owners are friendly and the buildings/grounds are very well maintained. The insulation between the units does a great job blocking sound (our neighbour has a newborn that we've yet to hear cry!). The baseboard heaters are also surprisingly efficient, our hydro bill is usually under $50 a month (even during the winter). I've seen a number of my neighbour’s units and each one is completely different, no cookie-cutter design, ranging from 1000 - 2000 sq ft. The location is great, you can either take HWY 10 or 152 to HWY 1 to get downtown. Whiterock and cross border shopping are so close, I can literally be over the border in under 20 minutes! There's a bus stop nearby that will also get you downtown in about 60 minutes. It’s a safe neighborhood with some excellent schools nearby. After doing a lot of searching with our realtor, you definitely get the most bang for your buck in this up and coming location!

Thanks for the thorough review, this helped my wife and I find our new place!

I wrote this glowing review to help sell my condo. I would not recommend anyone to invest in Forest Gate, I made a huge mistake buying there and I'm glad that I'm out. BEWARE
unregistered user on September 15 2012:
it's sad so many buildings are going up cheap. My suggestion is buy a place with history and read the minutes.
unregistered user on July 7 2013:
Why would you write "a glowing review" to help sell your condo? Forestgate is a great place to live - hope you moved out and are unhappy in your new place - how childish!
unregistered user on July 7 2013:
Of course you should research the history of a condo complex and read the minutes of the strata meetings for the past two years. You shouldn't be in the housing market if you can't be bothered to do that.

As for the unregistered user of September 11, 2013. We are very strict on idiots that want to ignore, or circumvent the rules. That is why it is so safe and clean here.
MA on April 3 2014:
In addition for the comment coming from the unregistered used, I do not think that it is the same person, and the comment came from a registered user, and the comment on September 11, 2013 came from an unregistered user. So beware of people who have personal agendas
