"Pros and Cons. "
Owned in this building for seven years. PROS: Unique layouts, modern resort feel, good facilities - gym, spa, parking, storage. Close to transit. Mostly decent neighbours. Strata tries hard. Pets & rentals ok. Nice clubhouse, with cable and pool tables. CONS: Many break ins: including one severe ransacking of group storage unit in basement which affected over 40 tenants. The neighbourhood is still pretty rough and some violent incidences spill over to building perimeter/grounds - man assaulted in the driveway and brazen break in to a neighbour's apartment. Some units have been used for illicit activity - check the strata notes & disclosures carefully if buying in. Paper thin walls. Inadequate in-suite storage (closets). If neighbourhood improves may in time be a good investment but hasn't appreciated much in value over seven years, as area is highly supplied with competing newer condo stock. ROI on rental returns were average.

"Strata company did good
job!"
although this building is not in the greatest location, a professional building is right across the street with skytrain. the strata company did an excellent job on working with security issues.

I live in this building and the wall are paper thin now imagine hearing footsteps and drawers and doors and tv and stereo and the hwy. Imagine if the people above me had hard floors it's a very noisy building.

As the Access Building has bylaws and code minimums in place about changes in flooring for this specific reason. I would suggest checking with strata to see if upstairs neighbors have complied to these bylaws. I have live on ground floor for 5 years in this building and have never had concern about noise. Even the neighborhood is looking up

I also live on the ground floor, and hear minimum noise from the unit above.

"Nice Amenities"
I visited this building and it had a nice workout area and a very cool lounge in the middle of the courtyard. The building felt very modern. Some of the condos must here some noise from King George Hwy. I'm not too hot on the area but overall a nice complex.

Don't expect much from Surrey Central. New buildings, same losers.
